Description

“Battleship” for the Wii is a video game adaptation of the classic board game of the same name. Developed by Double Helix Games and published by Activision, it was released in 2012. The game allows players to engage in naval warfare against an opponent either through local multiplayer or against AI opponents. Players strategize by placing their ships on a grid-based game board and then taking turns guessing the coordinates of their opponent’s ships in an attempt to sink them. The game features various modes, including Classic mode, Salvo mode where players take multiple shots per turn, and Super Weapons mode which introduces special attacks. “Battleship” for the Wii offers a digital rendition of the familiar board game experience, enhanced with interactive visuals and gameplay mechanics.
